Bookopoly – Groep 6-8
Voor leerkrachten die op een speelse manier aandacht willen besteden aan Engelse kinderboeken hebben wij het spel Bookopoly ontwikkeld. Het lijkt op Monopoly, maar dan met boeken. Met het spel besteden de leerlingen van groep 6 tot 8 twee weken lang iedere dag 15 minuten aan het lezen van Engelse boeken en leeskaarten en maken/doen verschillende opdrachten. Je kunt het spel tijdens de Kinderboekenweek spelen, maar ook op elk ander moment.

Het is bijna Kerst. Santa Benny zingt en danst rond de (kerst)boom. Kijk daar! Lichtjes, een ster, een engel, een snoepstok en kerstklokjes! Die mogen in de boom gehangen worden. Santa Benny houdt ook van zingen, rijmpjes, spelletjes en vooral verstoppertje spelen. Santa where are you?

CLIL 1 – Wat is CLIL?
CLIL staat voor Content and Language Integrated Learning. Een thema of zaakvak (Content) wordt aangeboden in de vreemde taal (Language). Deze twee aspecten zijn zoveel mogelijk in balans. Naast Content en Language (Communication) spelen Cognition en Culture een rol.
CLIL 2 – De taal bij CLIL
Bij CLIL-lessen draait het niet alleen om de language of learning (kernwoorden, -structuren en chunks) en de language for learning (alledaagse taal), maar ook om taal die leerlingen leren door de nieuwe inhoud: de language through learning.
